I am the go-to girl if you have tax problems.

I graduated in 1991 from MTSU with an accounting degree. Started my career in the private sector and discovered that I love the tax side of accounting. Earned my EA designation August 2001 and have been preparing and representing taxpayers ever since. I am a member of NSTP and NAEA.

EA? What is an EA? An enrolled agent is a tax practitioner who is licensed at the federal level by the Internal Revenue Service. In fact, enrolled agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS.

Sometimes dealing with the IRS or your state revenue department can be daunting. Owing taxes is not a death sentence but it can feel like one. The letters from the IRS pile up and most times the taxpayer does not open them. It can cause problems in your relationships. Tax debt can keep you from buying or selling a house. It can make you physically ill and mentally defeated.

It is very rewarding to help someone with their tax problems. This is why I do what I do. I know the rules and requirements. I like to joke and say that I like to argue with the IRS. I have years of experience. I do over 60 hours a year of continuing education so I can stay on top of all the changes. You will need an expert to help you with your tax problems and I’m that expert!
